Welcome to LucVis Finance and Sphere. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our VAT deadline tracking service and Sphere cloud sync platform.
Sphere End-to-End Encryption
Your financial data is encrypted before it leaves your device
When you use Sphere to sync your LucVis Finance or Finance data across devices, all your transactions, OCR scans, and financial records are encrypted on your device using your master key before being transmitted to our servers.
Key Security Features:
- 🔐Client-side encryption: Data is encrypted on your device before transmission
- 🔑Master key protection: Only you have the key to decrypt your data
- 🚫Zero-knowledge architecture: We cannot read your data even if requested
- 🛡️End-to-end encryption: Data remains encrypted at rest on our servers
- ⛔No backdoors: Technical inability to access your encrypted content
Important: Seed Phrase Security
- ❌Due to our zero-knowledge encryption, we CANNOT recover your seed phrase (master password) if you lose it.
- 🔒If you forget your seed phrase, neither you nor we will have access to your encrypted data.
- ♻️You can only recover access from another synced device or from your seed phrase backup.
- ✅You MUST securely store your seed phrase. Write it down and keep it in a safe place.
- 💡We recommend storing multiple copies in different secure locations.

- Contact Information: Email address (if you choose to receive email reminders)
- Release Notification Email: Email address provided for app release notifications (if you subscribe)

- Usage Data: Basic analytics about how you use the service (pages visited, features used)
- Technical Data: Browser type, device information, IP address (anonymized)
